Songsmith does rock classics

Tuesday, January 27th, 2009

As loyal readers will know, I was somewhat perturbed by Microsoft’s new Songsmith software. And it appears my fears were well-founded.

This sick madness must end

Tuesday, May 20th, 2008

A new theme for the iPhone that makes it look like it’s running Windows Vista!

I feel like Charlton Heston at the end of Planet of the Apes when he sees the severed head of the Statue of Liberty and not only realises that he’s still on Earth but also that mankind finally carried through all its threats and destroyed itself.

“God damn you all to hell!!”

Why. Would. You. Do. This? No, seriously, why?

Now my Apple-loving credentials are well-established but, honestly, do you need to be a Mac groupie to realise that this is an abomination against all that is good?

What next? Do I have to take a hammer to the hard drive in my MacBook to slow it down and therefore mimic the effect Windows Vista has on computers? Must I disconnect my mouse and keyboard for an hour a day to get that “downtime whilst I virus check my PC” feeling in a show of solidarity for my less-fortunate Windows-using friends?

People, this sick madness must end… now.
