Who would have thought comic book lettering and grammar were so complicated! Thankfully Nate Piekos has come to the rescue.
As Piekos puts it in the introduction: “Comic book lettering has some grammatical and aesthetic traditions that are quite unique.” Darn tooting it does.
It doesn’t matter whether you last read a comic book last week or 20 years ago; these rules will all resonate with you, we just didn’t realise there were rules at the time.
